Paving Sealers. What Are The Benefits thereof?

Paving Sealers are used to protect the surface of driveway & patio paving. They are easily applied and provide a cost-effective way to not only enhance the look of your paving but to also provide a protective coat to prolong the life of your paving.

What are the Benefits?

There is a multitude of benefits of applying a sealer to your paving. These can include stopping unsightly stains from oil, diesel and petrol stains penetrating the surface of paving. They can prevent weeds and mould from growing in the paving joints by making your paving waterproof. They allow the surface to be easily cleaned.  Applying a block sealer can also prevent the loss of sand from being lost from the joints between the pavers by setting the sand hard.

Besides the protection, they also give excellent colour enhancing qualities. Dull and flat looking paving can be brightened up when a clear sealant is applied. This allows the natural colours of the paving to shine through. This especially the case when sealers are applied to block paving, concrete slabs and Indian stone paving slabs.
