  3. Use Acid. Weeds are killed by acid. That’s why many weed-killing products contain acid. Just mix together two tablespoons of lemon juice and one cup of white vinegar and get the same effect. You can use this mixture to kill unwanted plants without affecting the soil. This way, you won’t risk killing other plants and flowers.
  4. Baking Soda. Sprinkle baking soda on the weed to prevent other weeds from growing in that area. This is ideal for outdoor areas where there are currently no plants, in this case, your driveway.
  5. Use Vinegar. This is what you’ll need: – 3.5 liters of cleaning vinegar – 1/2 cup of salt – Generous squirt of washing up liquid – Spray bottleThis is how it’s done: Mix the 3.5 liters of cleaning vinegar with the ½ cup of salt and the squirt of washing up liquid together. Place some of the mixture in an empty spray can and then spray it over the weeds. Repeat several times until the weeds are gone
